The Plexiglas Picture Plane allows you to sketch whatever is behind its surface! My second course, Brush, Chalk, & Charcoal: Framing Your World, makes use of this tool and shows you exactly how I use it. You will easily solve any foreshortening problems, and your eye will be trained to see the shapes of real objects and scenes in space. All you need is a fine-tipped dry or wet erase marker to sketch on the surface of the picture plane. You can then transfer your captured image in a number of ways.

This design is unique--there is nothing like it on the market! You can hold it easily with the handle in either portrait or landscape orientation, and its lightweight form is perfect for younger students learning to draw. I've also included some etched "lemon points" that allow you to draw your own visual grid in thirds, if you'd like to use your picture plane that way. This is a very versatile product that will be a great addition to your art supplies and last your students a long time!
